Grinnell’s Downtown
Shot in Grinnell, Iowa, in May 2008. I found these buildings on 4th Street in “downtown” Grinnell– roughly six square blocks near the center of the town of 5,000. I was visiting Cat at the time, while she attended Grinnell College. She was in class when I took this photo. I braved a stiff, 55-degree Iowa wind and set out on foot into downtown, eventually landing at Saint’s Rest Coffee.
